Good morning Mr. Beery,
This email is a follow-up to our roughly 5-minute phone call you placed to me
this morning which left me a little confused once the call was terminated. You
had called me asking me about the "relevancy" of some posts on the following
link:
www.northshorevoice.org/publishdistrict207.htm
...in reference specifically to Dr. Wallace, current Superintendent of Maine
Township High School District 207 who is currently your employer. The phone call
had nothing to do with any other school district business; thus I'd like to
document that from roughly a little after 9:25 AM to roughly 9:30 AM we had
spoken and that you were asking me for my opinion on the "relevancy". I'd stated
to your and repeated once again that fact that what you saw on the page are
strictly facts.
I'd also stated that we had a relationship in the professional realm and in
that, I had no problems with you. There was also a reference to milkshakes at
McDonald's to clarify what you were seeing, comparing strawberry to vanilla,
explaining to you opinion versus fact.
After giving the call a little thought, in the future I'd like you to refrain
from asking me about my opinion on matters and stick strictly to business for
the district as you would for any other person; in this case a citizen and
resident of this district.
The phone call this morning caught me off-guard and in that I feel that someone
in particular put you up to the phone call which may have stepped out of bounds
with the purpose of your employment.
In the future I'd recommend you try, in my OPINION, the chocolate milkshake at
McDonald's before calling someone "out of the blue" trying to get an opinion on
things when you see the facts blatantly in front of you.
See you tonite and just an FYI; it's going to be a packed house @ 7PM at Maine
South!
Regards,
Eric M. Poders
